Seen in: From Russia With Love. This was worn by SPECTRE agents. The blade was covered in poison and would be concealed in front of the shoe.
Aston Martin DB5-
Seen in: Goldfinger.The many modifications included:
- rotating license plate
- passenger ejector seat
- forward machine guns
- smoke and oil sprayers
- slasher hubcaps
- rear bulletproof shield
Bowler Hat-
Seen in: Goldfinger. This hat was worn by Oddjob and had a metal ring hidden on the rim. It was so sharp that it could cut through stone.
Underwater Jet Pack-
Seen in: Thunderball. The jet pack propels Bond faster than anyone else can swim. It also includes explosive spears.
Mini-Rocket Cigarette-
Seen in: You Only Live Twice. Shoots a rocket up to 30 yards.
Electro-Magnetic RPM Controller-
Seen in: Diamonds Are Forever. Gives the person wearing it a jackpot on any slot machine.
The Golden Gun-
Seen in: The Man With the Golden Gun. This gun was made out of a pen, cigarette lighter, cigarette case and a cuff link. It can only hold one bullet at a time.
Jaws' Teeth-
Seen in: The Spy Who Loved Me. Jaws uses his teeth to bite his enemies' jugular, causing them to bleed out.
Ski Pole Gun-
Seen in: The Spy Who Loved Me. A 4 caliber gun hidden inside the pole.
Perfume Flame Thrower-
Seen in: Moonraker. Used by Holly Goodhead.
Identigraph-
Seen in: For Your Eyes Only. Any early computer system that makes a photograph based on physical descriptions.
Seiko Wristwatch-
Seen in: Octopussy. Contains the following things:
- radio direction finder
- live video feed
- homing device tracker
The Crocodile-
Seen in: Octopussy. A mini motor boat disguised as a crocodile. Bond used this to get to Octopussy's island.
Butterflies-
Seen in: A View to Kill. Used as razors by May Day.
Stay tuned for part 2 of this post, 1987-Present. With so many movies and so many gadgets, this needs two posts. I still can't write about all of the different items used in the James Bond movies, that would take a lot of posts. These are just some of the gadgets that I have always liked.
